Henry of Pelham Family Estate Winery: Henry of Pelham Family Estate Winery was established in 1988 with the first vintage. Reif Estate Winery: One of Niagara’s founding-family wineries, Reif opened in 1983; today, the large 60-hectare site produces a complete range of varietals, including Vidal Icewine, a perennial medal winner. Premium “first growth” reds from the oldest vines are turning heads as well. Masi Agricola: In 1772, the Boscaini family bought its first vineyard, the Vaio di Masi (the “valley of Masi”) in the middle of the Valpolicella area in the Veneto region of northeast Italy. Six generations later, Sandro Boscaini and his family still run Masi, a winery that has gone on to become the region’s top supplier of premium wines and leader in the creation of fine Amarone.
